Telesmatic Sound Box è il nuovo progetto di musica sperimentale di Dok Gregory (NYC) e Timo Viialainen(FIN) iniziato nel 2013. La ricerca di Telesmatic Sound Box si fonda sulle peculiarità dell'improvvisazione di ogni singolo artista e sulle analogie/differenze degli strumenti scelti. Un misto di analogico e sintetizzatori modificati, theremin, ghironda elettroacustica e strumenti a fiato che convergono in una miscela organica di ambient psichedelica ed androide ed elementi di noise‐folk.

In programma tre set: Dok Gregory (solo); Hur Hur (Timo solo); Telesmatic Sound Box.

Dok Gregory has been composing, performing and recording experimental/electronic music since 1983. His current/ongoing projects include Zero Gravity Thinkers (NYC) with Peter Principle / Zemi 17  ‐  Silence Corporation (NYC/SPb, Russia) with Pavel Mikheev /Alexei Pliousnine / VJ Yuri Elik  ‐  Future Dream Transmissions (NYC) with Masha Gitin.He has been a member of New York City based audio visual group Amoeba Technology since 1997, toured and performed in festivals throughout the United States, Europe, Russia and South America and had recorded works released

in most of the same. Doks' audio‐visual collaborations have been featured in programs at the Forum Des Images in Paris, Basel Art Fair in Switzerland, The Kitchen + Lincoln Center in NYC and elsewhere. Dok has also toured and collaborated extensively as a member of Incidence Transmission Network, Psychic TV, Akashic Currency Bureau, Trance Pop Loops and the Ransom Corps. He is and has been based in Brooklyn, N.Y. for the past 21 years, and is director of the 23 Windows Arts Collective.

Timo Viialainen (born 1981) is a Helsinki based sound and performance artist. He is currently making music under the name Hur Hur. With Hur Hur he has focused on exploring the electro‐acoustic possibilities of the hurdy gurdy. The music of Hur Hur combines long ritualistic orchestral‐like compositions with improvisation on the hurdy gurdy and other instruments. The result is a frantic, cathartic gallop of drone driven by tide‐like crisscrossing of organic riffs. Other music projects Timo Viialainen has worked with during the previous ten years of his musical career include Logos, Pleasures and Days, Pistols at Twenty Paces, Nega and Täydellisyys. Since 2011 he has toured and performed at different festivals in Europe, North America and Russia. He is also an active performance artist and a member of Là‐bas, a forum for experimental arts operating in Finland. During its 14‐year existence, Là‐bas has organized over 100 events in Finland and abroad, and has contributed significantly to the Finnish field of experimental live art forms.
