INTERZONE GALLERIA is a gallery and private studio: two areas that come together as a multipurpose laboratory which acts as catalyst for a constant flow of events from exhibitions to video installations, from workshops and presentations of artistic projects to meetings and debates.
It is a workspace for traditional photography, instant photography, video art and publishing, a coworking place for ideas and projects to be realized.
INTERZONE GALLERIA was conceived, founded and is directed by photographer, Michele Corleone.
The location, zONA (Zone), concerns not only a physical space, but also and primarily the collaboration between professionals with experience in different sectors: photographic publishing, darkroom (black & white and color), instant photography (polaroid), traditional photography, video shooting, editing and post-production and music.
INTERZONEbookshop offers a selection of photography books, educational books, trade magazines and rare (both in Italian and foreign major publishing houses and distributors) books.
Part of the bookshop is dedicated to maquettes and catalogues of the exhibitions on view.
Open workshops in publishing are held to develop basic tools to create a photo book and a dummy. An in-depth understanding of how to edit, produce and distribute a photographic catalogue is offered.
If you are an independent publisher and you are interested in collaborating with INTERZONEbookshop, write to: firstname.lastname@example.org
At INTERZONE GALLERIA we mount exhibitions of known artists and emerging Italian and foreign photographers, following the entire creative process from initial concept to final show.
INTERZONE GALLERIA is also a laboratory of the moving image. Projects are designed for distribution and collectors: documentaries, shorts, very short edits from life with scores written and performed by international musicians.
A space of just a few square meters, lived with intensity.
